Fernando Tatis Jr. hit two home runs and scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch as the San Diego Padres defeated the Chicago Cubs 10-4, extending their home winning streak to 11-0. The victory improved the Padres' record to 14-3, the best in the majors. Tatis now has six home runs this season and recorded his 12th career multi-homer game.
The Cubs initially took a 3-1 lead, but the Padres tied the game in the sixth inning before pulling ahead in the seventh. Luis Arraez also homered in the eighth, marking the Padres' first back-to-back homers of the season. Adrian Morejon earned the win for San Diego.
