Cincinnati Reds have placed left-handed pitcher Sam Moll on the 15-day injured list retroactive to April 11 due to a left shoulder impingement. This is the second consecutive year Moll has been sidelined with the same injury, having missed nearly a month at the beginning of last season for the same reason. Despite pitching in three games out of the bullpen this season with a 3.00 ERA, his last appearance on April 6 against Milwaukee saw him give up three runs in two-thirds of an inning. The Reds are set to start a three-game series against Seattle following this roster move.
