Florida State baseball climbed to No. 7 in D1baseball.com rankings and No. 10 in Baseball America's poll after a 3-1 week, including a sweep against Virginia Tech. Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas, and North Carolina held the top spots in Baseball America's rankings.
In D1baseball.com's rankings, Texas led, followed by Arkansas, Clemson, Tennessee, and Georgia. FSU secured the 6th spot after their successful weekend against Virginia Tech, causing the Hokies to fall out of the top 25.
Other ACC teams in D1's rankings included UNC at No. 12, Georgia Tech at No. 14, and Louisville at No. 17. FSU, with a 28-7 record, is scheduled to face USF and embark on a series against unranked Virginia this week at Dick Howser Stadium.
