The venue plan also features events like target shooting, sport climbing, and marathon swimming.
Boxing will have preliminary matches at the Peacock Theater, with the final stages at Crypto.com Arena. Weightlifting, gymnastics, and volleyball will be at different venues in Anaheim and downtown Los Angeles. Archery will take place at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, while equestrian events will be held at Santa Anita racetrack in Arcadia.
Additional sports like rhythmic gymnastics, badminton, and 3x3 basketball will have designated venues across the city, including the University of Southern California campus and the Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area. The updated venue plan was approved by the International Olympic Committee's executive board and includes a variety of sporting events spread throughout the Los Angeles area.
