Knox News has released limited-edition baseball cards to celebrate the opening of Covenant Health Park and the Knoxville Smokies' inaugural downtown season. These cards feature places and individuals related to Knoxville, such as the Old City, Smokies Mascots, Water Tower, and The Scruffs. Fans can collect these cards for free during games or by visiting specific locations like Visit Knoxville gift shop and Knox Brew Hub.
In addition to the baseball cards, fans attending the opening games on April 15 and 16 will receive clear tote bags and commemorative tickets. Subsequent games on April 17 and 18 will feature giveaways like a "Return to Knoxville" pennant and a replica alternate jersey. The opening week will culminate with a series against Chattanooga, with fireworks displays after each game. The Smokies plan to have 27 fireworks shows in 2025, including a grand display on July 4. Pregame festivities are set to begin at Covenant Health Park plaza at 4:30 p.m. for the first game on April 15.
